In conjunction with Asbestos Awareness Week (November 21st – 27th) Senator Lisa Singh and Russell Broadbent MP launched the Parliamentary Group on Asbestos Related Disease (PGARD) that focuses on asbestos related disease. The group aims to raise awareness and educate the community of the dangers associated with this insidious carcinogen.
